New Office Opening of Asyst Shinko’s Taiwanese Subsidiary in Taichung

Asyst Shinko Taiwan, Inc. (Headquarters: Hsinchu city, President: Hirokazu Umeda), a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of Asyst Shinko, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Hitoshi Kawano) opened an office in Taichung in April of 2004 (6F-5, No.108-6, Sec.3 Taijunggang Port Road, Taichung city), following the Tainan office, and started sales and service operations in order to provide rapid services to the semiconductor and liquid crystal industries that are entering the newly established Science Based Industrial Park in Taichung.

The continuously and vigorously expanding semiconductor and liquid crystal industries in Taiwan are known worldwide for their high-level market share. Following Tainan county and the suburbs of Hsinchu city, a new Science Based Industrial Park in Taichung city has been secured in order to attract Taiwan’s top manufactures, and ever more factories and facilities are being built in the area.

Asyst Shinko Taiwan established the Taichung office in the vicinity of the Taichung Science Based Industrial Park in April 2004 with the aim of localizing Taiwan’s first automatic transportation system for the users of sixth-generation liquid crystal panel production for which Asyst Shinko, Inc. received orders at the end of 2003.

We have stationed engineers, technicians, and sales staff, as well as maintenance and customer services staff, at the Taichun office so that we can satisfy the various needs of our users. Furthermore, the office has a warehouse that holds enough spare parts to adapt to any situation that interferes with the smooth production operations of our users.

Together with Asyst Shinko, Inc., the Asyst Shinko Taiwan team will continually push toward our primary corporate ideal, to uphold “High customer satisfaction” and to improve even further.
